About Sabre Fightwear

Sabre Fightwear is a UK-based women’s fightwear brand creating women’s Muay Thai shorts and combat sports essentials, designed, tried and tested by female fighters.

Founded by Cathryn, Sabre Fightwear began when she struggled to find shorts that ticked three simple boxes: a proper fit, comfort during training, and designs she actually wanted to wear while preparing for her first Muay Thai fight.

After speaking to the women she trained with, she realised she wasn’t alone. They were experiencing the same frustrations. So, she decided to create the fightwear they were missing.

With no prior business experience, Cathryn built Sabre around one simple belief: women shouldn’t have to compromise on fit, comfort or style to train and compete. Our women’s Muay Thai shorts are designed with female fighters at every stage of their journey in mind, with thoughtful details that let you focus on training rather than adjusting your gear mid-round.

More than fightwear

Sabre exists to create space and raise the standard for women in combat sports. From more women stepping into grassroots gyms to breaking records on the global stage, women are making their mark in combat sports like never before. We want to be part of that progress.

We also donate £1 from every order to Gaza Boxing Women, a community space for women and girls to train, challenge stereotypes and build confidence through boxing.
